Wow, my prayers go out to you and your family.
I conversed with him several times and it was always a great experiance. He was fun and enthusiastic. it just feels like a few days ago that I was talking to him about putting white tape and a white saddle on his bianchi. its an absolutely beautiful bike, one of my favorites.

I think it is great you plan to keep bikes for his son. I would vote the yellow cannondale and the Bianchi.
The yellow cannondale was his obvious favorite. He was a pronounced caad lover and it was the recipient of the newest components.
Why the bianch? He said it himself:
There is no doubt he was open to selling the blue cannondale or Fuji. Yellow (as he called it) and the bianchi never seemed in question, he was attached to them.

Yes, it is heavy and old, but it is in absolute spotless condition, it was in the collector posession and never been serioulsy ridden. I'm only second owner. And it is a real head turner in the cyclist parking lot. Also it is very comfortable and fast on flats (and it is flat evrywhere) and it is able to keep 25 mph if needed. I do not ride it often but really enjoy it when do.
So, I have an idea to sell one of two (blue and Fuji) and build something very light with SRAM group and light pieces... You think Fuji is a better candidate than blue cannondale?

This saddens me greatly as I had a few interactions with him on the Hybrid Thread. Lovely guy and knew his way around a bike.
My deepest simpathy to you, and your family. RIP

I am so sorry to hear about this! The utmost condolences to you, your family and all of his friends and acquaintances. In regards to the bikes, I am in 100% agreement with thirdgenbird on this:

Lena, I didn't not know your husband, just read his posts here. He seemed to have been a good man--you were both very blessed to have each other. I am truly sorry for your loss.
