Front Derailleur Question
I picked up a used road bike recently to turn into a commuter. Unfortunately it has a broken front derailleur (torsion spring retainer snapped off).
It's a Shimano Tiagra triple 9-speed. 4503, I'm fairly sure. 31.8mm clamp. Seems those are kind of a pain to find these days.
I'm wondering if someone could tell me what other compatible front derailleur I could swap it with.
Would be much appreciated!

I'm sure you may be able to find one cheaper and I don't mind helping you look but they are out there... here is one example

edit: I will also add that I think the 9 speed 105 triple wil work just fine as well.

Pretty much any Shimano 8 or 9sp triple derailleur will work. They all have the same cable pull ratio.
If you can only find braze ons you can buy a clamp that has the same fitting as a braze-on and bolt it to the clamp.

Here's a new 105 9sp model for $28 shipped. Get it.
