Should I throw away my US Postal Service and Livestrong jerseys?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A jersey's a jersey. If it fits and functions, wear it if you want.
I've got jerseys that are yellow. No one's given me a hard time about not winning the TdF.

I've tried to buy them cheap, but the sellers here think they're made of gold thread.
I still support Livestrong, and no longer support Susan G Komen. Go figure.

Each to his own.

Whatever, it's still a much better garment to wear than a tshirt and a fanny pack while cycling. Who cares what's on it?

Sometimes the fashion circlejerk of the 41 is astounding. I mean, think about it- at the end of the day, even if you're perfectly styled, you're still only the coolest cyclist. We're all a little kooky, own it.

But still, I can't help but feel a bit embarrassed and self conscious when I wear it.

What do you guys think?
You only have 2 jerseys???

You can always use them for Halloween costumes.

I know this is about your jersey..but I know somebody who has one of the Trek Discovery Channel Team surplus frames that he picked up new from a "retired rep" om eBay some years back. He is now well aware that he bought something that was probably used (based on reports), to have contrinbuted to funding the operation.

In the real world outside of the forum, no one really cares. I would not wear them simply because I myself am disgusted by the whole ordeal, not because what other people may think about me wearing them.

Wait a little longer when all the law suits are filed. The jerseys will be worth more money. As the drama unfolds on this new journey for Lance and the marketing money he help create, there will be lots to reflect upon. Those jerseys will have a lot to say.

Just last week my brother innocently asked, "Why can't you just dope with PED like all the other cyclists?" instead of all my work to get more aero. I don't think the jersey is going to change anyone's perception much ... truth be told I've been kind of looking around for a Lance jersey but I haven't found any. I'd kind of like to have one.

OP - If you want to get rid of your jerseys, I will pay you for postage and take them off your hands. Seriously. I would love to buzz around in a USPS jersey with my "Cheat to Win" fake Livestrong bracelet that I found on theonion.com.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I could really care less who dopes, and with what drugs, in any sport.

OP- I'll take that USPS jersey off your hands. Seriously- and not even for "pro" or "anti-Lance" reasons. My mom put in 35 years with the postal service and I just think she'd appreciate me supporting her beloved former workplace.
