I hit zero point zero guitar clams at the first place, maybe one or two in Middletown, but the drunken audience there never heard them. We absolutely killed it @ both venues. We're good together. Got a ton of attaboys on the lead guitar work which was great to hear. We'll keep playing together, this could be going somewhere.

This playing in front of an audience that likes you is great. Plus my little 2 song acoustic solo mini set went over big in Warwick, they loved the 'I Hope' original. Absolutely the most fun I ever had playing in front of people. I'm getting far more relaxed. I'm particularly less nervous when I'm up there with another player, I am focused more on supporting the duo, not worrying about what the audience thinks of me.

Positive reinforcement. Pcad rocks on.

That's awesome man congratulations! I also give you credit for having the nerve to get up there at your bodyweight...

If you are going to give credit give it to the craftsman that managed to construct a stage that will hold both his weight and his ego. That is some amazing engineering.

First dry saturday in a while, temps right around freezing but I don't care. Going for a 55 mile club ride. It was supposed to be the post-valentine's day ride, but that was canceled due to weather. It's allegedly in the shape of a heart...if you look at the route, I think you can get the idea...

You're absolutely right. That's an excellent point!

If it collapses under his weight, don't worry, it's just a stage he's going through.

Went to the Toronto Bike Show last night. Ran into Steve Bauer again, and he recognized me, which is unspeakably cool.

Saw the new Cervelos. The new paint job on the S5s looks really really good in person. They had last year's S5 in Rival for $2600 which made me sad, because I can't spend $2600.

Grand Fondos are exploding. There's like a dozen of them scheduled for the Sept 9 and Sept 13 weekends.

The booth babe at the Cippolini booth was gorgeous. The bikes are pretty too, but a little overpriced.

I got 5 tubes of chamois butter for 50% off, a giant tub of Recoverite for 30% off, and a Gabba rain jersey for spring/fall commuting.

I groaned at that, much like the stage did at him.

Always a good choice. If you have netflix and it's still up, go for a double feature with Cycles South.

We usually keep it in the family and follow with Dust to Glory.

Third episode of "House of Cards" on Netflix. A masterpiece of a program.

I was thinking of going, but I found in the past that the deals just were not that good. Stuff is usually cheaper on-line. But I did run into Rick Mercer the last time I went. He is short.

Woke up early today and decided to go for a ride without waiting for it to warm up. 30deg with 15mph winds. I made it an hour and a half on the Breed before I headed back home. I'm still not used to riding for more than 45min in the cold.

At least I have a comfortable couch and fireplace in the living room. :thumb:

Mr. TS is on the rollers in the basement swearing at the TV. I think he's doing Sufferfest Angels.

Just started watching this on recommendation from my boss, and after realizing Kevin Spacey is in it. Great show.

Still waiting for GoT to show up on Netflix... If it ever happens.

So, after a week of Mr. TS telling me "Just go and buy the damn Abarth already." I went to find out how dumb of an idea it would be.

Turns out it would be dumb, but not as dumb as I was hoping to get me to stop thinking about it.

Blargh.

After driving through your neck of the woods, I'm pretty sure that I'd either drop weight pretty quickly or I'd stop riding altogether pretty quickly.

Seems like my Garmin 810 is not nearly as accurate on wattage as my 500. I'll look down during a climb and it will go from 350 to 150 then back to 350. I have it set the same way as my previous Garmins, 3 second averaging. It is also showing my average wattages much lower because of it. I need to do another ride with both my 810 and 500 to compare average power numbers.
