Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

The last time I watched cycling on TV was .... hmmmm .... gotta think way back ....

I might have watched the TDF in 2005. That would be the most recent cycling event I've seen on TV, and it might have even been 2004.

I don't like watching sports ... I like participating in sports.

My main "hobby" is motorcycling. I have been riding for 29 years. If I only have time for one and it's ride the bicycle or ride the beemer, the beemer usually wins.

I'd say my main hobby is learning and practicing nutrition. Not so much cooking, but learning how nutrients effect the body, how to eat right, etc. It's what I went to school for, but it's not exactly what I want a career in (realized that late in the game).

I'm really into strength training and fitness. I'm a certified personal trainer, and fitness went from being a hobby to my career choice. A background in nutrition is obviously relevant, so I feel like training is a good choice.

I played drums for 11 years and just recently sold them. Been playing guitar for about the last 5 years.

Motorcycles is probably first on the list of future hobbies - as soon as I have some adequate funds.
