Lighter alternative to Vittoria Corsa CX?
I've been using the Vittoria Corsa tires for a couple years now and I generally like them very much. Supple, good grip, pretty low rolling resistance, and at least for me fairly durable. But they're 250g per tire...which is a bit heavier than some of the competitions race tires. Are any of the following at least as durable as the Vittoria's?
Conti GP400S
Schwalbe Ultremo ZX
Michelin Pro4 Race (there are several versions, it appears)
Those all seem to be race level tires that are around 50g per tire lighter than the Vittoria's. But are they more puncture prone?
Thanks!

I've never found the Corsas to be particularly durable. They have good grip but seem to get lots of cuts.
In any case, I wouldn't make a decision on tires based on saving 50g of weight.
GP4000s are $33 at PBK now so that's what I'm buying.

yeah, that's what everyone said about them when i decided to try them. but i've only cut one tire after being unable to avoid a very large, scraggly branch. so you have found the gp4000's more durable? do they seem to roll as fast?

I think you're looking at the weight for Corsa EVO CX tubulars.
The listed weight for Open Corsa EVO CX is 204 grams and Competitive Cyclist has it at 210 grams actual.
The lsited weight for Corsa EVO CX tubulars is 250 grams, and CC has that at 241 grams actual, which is very light considering that also includes the tube (thus the equivalent of a clincher weighing about 180grams).

The corsas seem to wear similarly to PRO3s as long as you don't get a big puncture that requires a boot. I buy them if I get a good deal on them. I got 6,200km out of the last Corsa I had on the rear. I think I got about 9,000 last time I used GP4000s.
I think Merlin is correct on the weights as PBK lists both tires at a similar weight.

I just weighed a new set of Vredestein Fortezza Comp at 217 grams each. this has become my favorite and replaced Conti 4000 and Michelin Pros as my go to clincher. you'll find almost universally good reviews AFAIK.
