Can Lance do it?
Alright, i know a bunch of people here have been getting tired about hearing about Lance but lets just try and keep that to your self. So seriously can he beat the hour record. Personally i think he can.

I wouldn't bet against a guy who has 6 yellow jerseys hanging in his closet (or wherever he puts them). He puts 100% effort into the tour and he wins. If he puts 100% effort into the hour record, then I think he can do it.

I believe he can do it for two reasons. Because A. he is that strong of a rider and B. no matter how hard they try to spec a bike down, its still going to be an advantage giver over older rides IMHO.

He'll do it, no doubt in my mind. Not only he's got the talent, skill and the physical make up to do it but the mental toughness as well, when he focus-he F-O-C-U-S.
I don't care what his detractors say, they just sound like the french when they couldn't stand he winning. Ah, jealousy.

How can you doubt the only person who has ever won six TDFs?
I really do not get why there is any negativity towards Lance. He has been nothing but good for cycling in general and especially American cycling.
Go Lance!

Your poll neglects to add the possiblity that he isn't washed up
and does not get the record.
FWIW the 2 are very different events, and one is not a good predictor
of the other.
