Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How do I know if I have a short, medium or long cage? I need to replace my current one.

Haha...never mind....I see the difference now. The reason for replacement is a squeak that wont go away. If I push the cage manually back and forth it squeaks and it's my understanding that it's caused by a spring inside the unit that cant be accessed and lubricated......or it can but it's very difficult and not worth the effort. I've lubed everywhere else on this thing and the squeak wont stop. Thoughts? The plan was to replace it when the squeak became audible during a ride and it seems that time has come.

I have an extra standard length one I'd sell for a reasonable price.

SRAM Force rear derailleur

Run it through a parts washer, lube it with T9 on pivots and springs, light grease for pulleys, clean off the outside.
