Recommend me a cheap cassette for trainer wheel
So, I got a trainer for the first time for Christmas, and have been using it since. I've been using it with last year's tire, which is now ready for a swap. I'm finally going to get outside today, and will be putting on a new tire. But I don't think trainer season is fully over here in Boston, so I'm planning to put the old tire on a spare wheel. The spare wheel I have does not have a cassette. I have a 12-25 SRAM 1070 cassette on my main wheel which has at least another year in it. So I'm not anxious to put it on the trainer wheel, as it seems like overkill (given that I'm rarely shifting on the trainer anyway). Any ideas on a budget cassette for a trainer specific wheel? Amazon has a tiagra for about $35. That, or something else?
I do have a new 1070 that I grabbed off Chainlove for $50ish, but was planning to save that for next year. Should I just swap that out and put the old one on the trainer?
And yes, I realize I'm over thinking this.
Thanks, Bryan

Any Sram or Shimano will work if it is the same speed, 10speed for a 10 speed etc. If it is going to be a dedicated trainer wheel I would do like you are thinking, save the good one for outside and buy a cheaper one for inside.

Thanks for the thoughts. So far, two votes for new cheap cassette, one for moving 1070 with life over and use new 1070. Any other opinions?
Thanks,
Bryan

It's $26 for a Tiagra cassette from Wiggle. Is that cheap enough?

Cassettes are consumables. I have a Tiagra cassette on my training/commute wheels. It is noticeably heavier than an Ultegra but so what. It weighs less than a full water bottle.
