Addiction XXII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yep Herbie. I missed the draft by a couple years, but it is still a part of my growing up. The real people that truly served are in places like Arlington, and memorialized on such things as The Wall. The people that are supposed to serve are in the White House, and the rest of those type buildings. I really have no interest in looking at that.

On a positive note, last night's ride was just perfect-65 F, light wind, sunny (sunset at 8:15 pm) and no traffic. I think the 65-70 zone is my perfect cycling temp.

L o'P - I think it is awesome that the "Little Lady" is helping you to cook hotdogs in a coffee maker. She may well be the Goldberg for your Rube.
