Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2005 Specialized Tarmac Comp Road Bike Value

Hey Everyone,
I came across this model bike and was wondering if someone could put a value on it for me. I am new to the racing world, and am looking to buy. Here are the listed components:
56 cm Size Large
Carbon Fiber Fiber frame and fork
Shimano Ultegra/105 components
Carbon Fiber bottle cages
Velomax Ascent II Wheels
FSA Carbon Cranks
Shimano Clipless Pedals
Cateye Computer

Thank you all for your help on pricing!

Jon

A lot depends on condition. Could be anywhere from 500-900.

Around here, I would expect such a bike to be listed for around $1100-$1300 on Craigslist assuming all components were fully operational and it was good cosmetically.
