Not a bad price for an aluminum bike with 9sp Shimano 105. Make sure the wheels aren't shot.

Assuming it's in working mechanical condition, I'd say $350 is a good price. You couldn't get a new Sora equipped Trek for twice that much, and 105 is a couple notches better.

Not bent and the wheel should spin fairly true (look on youtube if you need to see what that looks like.) Also no cracks in the rim around the spoke holes or on the hubs. Trek paired spoke wheels like that don't have the greatest reputation. FYI, you should be able pick up some Mavic CXP22 or Shimano R500 wheels on CL for $75-100 if you want something a little newer/better.

I had 9sp Shimano 105 on my last bike and it's pretty solid and reliable. Shifts just about as well as the newest 105 when tuned up properly. For $350 you're lucky to be getting a bike with integrated brakes/shifters IMO.

I have the same bike. It rides like a donkey, but I put 20,000 miles on mine and loved every minute of it.
