A Question About Speedplay Pedals

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A Question About Speedplay Pedals

For you Speedplay Light Action users, do these pedals/cleats allow for unclipping in either direction: inwards and outwards twist?

I'm thinking of moving to Speedplays but I have an issue with twisting my left leg outwards (broke it a few years ago) and if these only allow unclipping by twisting outwards I could have a problem.

I have Zeros and tried this before (not quite seriously) and the float is too much to do this effectively or fast enough. Never tried to reduce to float to a minimum to see if it's actually possible to do so with these pedals...
