Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sometimes the water temperature is in the 30s but if that's your thing then swim on naked.

There's no need to shower after my ride. It's like killing two birds with one stone!

The other day, there was a bird in the bush outside my garage. I wondered if that was worth a 1/2 bird in my hand. I don't want a 1/2 bird in my hand, because that would be gross. Especially if it was killed with 1/2 of a stone.

You can ride naked on sunny days. Don't forget the sunscreen.

So have you ever ridden naked in the rain? Does that feel like going for a naked swim?

Riding in the rain is fun because it's a heck of a lot better than not riding. Around here there are only two types of riders: the wet and the weak. Of course just like anything else, you have to know what you're doing or you're a danger to yourself and those around you.

You don't have to ride in the rain to do that, you just need OCD.

No. I hate riding in the rain. I'd rather be soaked in sweat on trainer. Too much stress watching for cars, slippery spots and wash/lube all bike after it.

I like riding in the rain because I know that I won't be buzzed by any Harley riders on my favorite roads.

No one wheel sucks me without permission in the rain.

In the rain no one waves at other riders or expects it in return.

Sunglasses over or under the straps seems so abstract.

And cycling chicks in the rain? What's there not to like?
