Dropped handlebars brake levers - Can't find a 7x3 speed option?!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dropped handlebars brake levers - Can't find a 7x3 speed option?!

My issue:

My current handlebars are on their way out, and I decided to get some new ones. Finding the handlebars was not an issue, nor was the grip tape. I however am having a problem finding the brake/gear levers. I am used to using rotation shifters that came with my bike, but I want the kind that have gears incorporated into the lever. I can find many different sets, however my bike is a 7x3 speed, and I cannot seem to find any like that. My friend also has a 7 speed, and his bike came with the brake/gear levers already. I find this very strange, and I would prefer not to have to dish out on a new gearing system. If anyone knows of somewhere I can get 7x3 levers, please let me know, thanks.

Microshift makes a 3x8.

You can also still get 7 speed Shimano Sora it appears.

If you can't find what you want, you might consider bar end shifters, also called barcons. I shift mine in friction mode, but they came off an old Shimano seven-speed that indexed fine. Or you could man up and stop with the brifters. I know everybody uses them and loves them, but I'll be the last holdout.

Either bar end shifters or upgrade, Although there still are integrated levers available

all the 7 speed will work
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...o+rsx&_sacat=0

although their reliability is questionable. It is old stuff.

Try shimano sora 7 speed.

Fwiw, I have the RSX shifters with RX100 fd and rd, and it has worked as good as anything for the couple of thousand miles I've used them. 3x7
