Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm in love!

Well here she is fella's. I just got her home. After spending 3 hours in the bike shop this is what I decided on. Specialized Roubaix. Full carbon. I cannot believe how light this bike is, I have to get it on a scale, it's killing me. I found that the Roubaix fit me the best and I was way more comfortable on it than the Allez. It rides like a dream, shifts awesome (for Sora, which will be swapped out to Ultegra later) and handles flawlessly. I loved the white compared to
the red and black. I'm in love!!!!

Nice bike, enjoy it.

Now let me be the first to say, Flip it. And please take a proper picture in front of a white garage door (or at least a bench)

Thanks guys! I'm in vitamin world rite now looking for some protein mix. I weigh one hundred and ten pounds and I'm 29 years old, I'm not much bigger than a tooth brush. I'm commuting back and forth to work and I can just feel it taking a lot out of me, really need something to replace the calories I'm losing from riding. I'm not gonna stop riding, I'm enjoying it way touch.

Hey the cool thing was, the shop owner said lets go take it for a spin. He grabbed his bike and I grabbed the Roubaix and we headed out the back door. We headed to a bank parking lot and then jumped on some nice roads in a quiet sub division. We rode for roughly 15 minutes. The whole time he was talking to me about the bike and what to exspect and what not. Actually had a blast riding with the guy and talking. Super cool guy.
So we made it back to the shop and he says, you like it? I said, yep with a big smile. So he says, you wanta ring it up? I said, what you waiting on? Lol.... Ill definitely go back there and do business with them. Now I know he was being super friendly to make a sell but I could tell deep down he was a super guy. He was showing me a flat tire kit. Small pouch that mounts under the seat, inside is some tire tools, a tube, patches and the CO2 cartridges. Forgot how much the price was for that though. Seemed like a nifty lil kit.

Your pretty small, I weigh 140 and people think im skinny as hell. How tall are you? how long is your commute?

Protein powder itself probably wont do a whole lot. Eat more small portioned healthy calories. There is a lot online about diet and exercise.
