I've found BeIn Sports, which will show the Giro in the U.S. but it's not in HD. Are there any other options?

Depending on your cable provider you may be able to get it in HD on NBC Sports. https://advertise.nbcsports.com/on-air/cycling/

I just follow links from here: https://www.procyclinglive.com/livestream/#
It's not HD usually, but you're still getting to watch the Giro. That's a privilege in itself.

I think that if you get a vpn (virtual private network) set up (instructions on line via google) you will have a good chance of being able to do it if the lag isn't too bad.

I'll check but I'd be shocked if they show this. According to cyclingnews, it's only on BeIn in the US: https://www.cyclingnews.com/blogs/pin...ia-tv-coverage

Last year the Giro was on Universal Sport and definitely not in HD. The web feeds have not been a great option for me as they often run when I'm sleeping (I miss my DVR). I've been looking for a solution as well. So far, the best I came up with is https://cyclingtorrents.nl/. Make a donation and you can download HD right away. Been watching the Tour of Turkey and all the classics and so far it's been great. They are kind of sticklers for maintaining a good ratio but it's not too hard and donations help.

*hint* keep a few torrents on your computer (i've got a couple that are like gold ) and configure the operating system to allow background processes to operate in sleep mode, or better yet turn off sleep mode altogether. the "seeding" of the files increases the ratio, for me, at about the rate i download, which is a lot.

cyclingingtorrents.nl is the best thing since sliced bread.

I recently joined cyclingtorrents.nl. Managed to get in really early on the Paris-Roubaix torrent and uploaded about 35GB in three days! HD Eurosport here I come!

^^ So not an endorsement for Universalsports? Was actually thinking of checking that out. Also probably pay for the TdF online access this year. Any thoughts on that?

EDIT: Here's their cycling events this year: https://universalsports.com/2013/02/0...versal-sports/
If there's no other option, they're good enough.

I watch most all I can on line live stream so thats very early for me around 5 - 7 am PST they are not HD but at least I get to watch them this is whats on this month you can watch all the races as well as other sports.
You have to deal with a few pop-ups when you first open the pages but if you learn to navigate them its not any trouble or just make it full screen right away and you never see them.

I don't have cable/satellite/antenna anymore, but a few years ago when I had Dish Network, I was able to add the REI channel for the month. It's broadcast in Italian.
---
Then, in September, I had to drop my regular package and get Dish Latino Max to have TVE so I could watch the Vuelta. Come October, I switched back to gringo programming.
