Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cancelled first thing this morning. Can still see where they are attempting charges, or the charges were made prior to cancelling.

I was driving home this evening with tears running down my face when I realized that today makes three months since I lost my dad. People keep telling me it gets easier, I'm not sure I believe them. One minute it seems like he has been gone forever, the next minute I think I can just pick up the phone and call him.

This just isn't right. I miss my dad.

I've lost grandparents, but not parents. I think the easier times get easier, but it's not something you "get over".

That'd be my guess, anyway.

Sucks lowcel. I hope it gets easier, but I am sure it won't be anytime soon.

My MiL passed two years ago and my grandfather six years ago. Neither my wife, my FiL, nor my mother are over the losses.

Thank you. I'm actually talking to Dad right now, and took the opportunity to remind him I love him.

Hang in there. Hug that fine puppy, if the one in your avatar is yours.

It will take time. How much time it takes is how much time it takes. There is nothing easy about losing a loved one. I can only imagine how hard it is to lose a parent. Good thoughts and feelings sent your way.

Let it flow. I don't think it gets easier, but the hard parts are less frequent.

I had a rough day on February 8. That was one year.

I have two more days coming up that I am dreading. May 25 will be my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. Then Dad's birthday is June 16th. Even though we have sold our business part of the agreement is that we will work three shows for the new owners. We will be working on his birthday.
