Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My state senator proposed cutting the meager welfare payments that some families qualify for if their kids didn't do well in school.

I'm sure that would solve their problems.

Uh-oh. Torrential downpour out there, maybe tornado, gonna have to get by with snacks on hand.

Popcorn, baby loaf of medium cheddar, Doritos, San Peligrino Aranciata - I guess I can live with that.

NCLB enshrined the idea that the solution to struggling schools was to give them less money, it seems applying it to the children as well is a "logical" extension.

No lunch for kiddos who don't do well on their tests.

This will help solve the child obesity problem, too.

A 48-hour jail sentence for killing a bicyclist. Awesome.

Foil looks more badass than ever with new Williams 38 skunkworks decals (grayed out instead of white).

Seems DUI generally trumps all, even riding a bike in the middle of the road in the dark with no lights. He got off light. 600 hours of community service is pure unadulterated hell, but it still isn't enough.

PCAD that bike looks great. But the crank looks out of place on it. Needs black crank and chainrings. Form>function

In the absence of a cable routing scandal, they'll scramble for some other controversy. Wait. That sounds like the GOP's tactic with the current Presidential Administration.
