Runtastic Road Bike or Cyclemeter
This has probably been talked about before but for some reason since I joined this site the search feature does not work. Any way what Iphone GPS App do you like better Runtastic or Cyclemeter.

I used to use Cyclemeter and I thought it was pretty great until the bar mount I used broke and I cracked my phone's screen. Anyway, it never was all that easy to see the display in sunlight. Still a great app, even if used from your pocket with or without the audio prompts. I've never used Runtastic, but Cyclemeter has been out a long time and gone through lots of revisions so it's now a very powerful and mature app. Saying that, there are loads of these type of apps around now.
I soon ditched the iPhone and now use a Garmin Edge 500, but I need to return that to Garmin for replacement as the buttons aren't working too well. Before I send it back, I'm researching which iPhone apps will work with the cheap Garmin iPhone ANT+ receiver so I can still feed my data addiction while the Garmin is getting replaced. The only ones out there that fit the bill are Garmin Fit and Digfit iBiker: all the other apps only seem work with the more expensive Wahoo receiver. Whatever, ANT+ sensors may not be important to you and it seems Bluetooth LE is were the future lies.
As for me, it looks as though I might just use the free Garmin Fit App, which auto-uploads to GarminConnect and then I can export the tcx file from GC into Strava and Golden Ccheetah. I can do without actually seeing the stats while I'm riding for a little while at least.

I will answer my own question as I bought them both. They are both very nice but so far I like the features and look better on cyclemeter. The cool feature is it tracks me and will send the info to my wife as I ride so she can monitor me since she worries. Anyway if I were choosing one it would be cyclemeter.
