I did not enjoy this...
Snapping the spindle was ok, but the flying over the handlebars a second later kinda sucked. Fortunately, I landed on a grassy median.

Ooh! That sucks. What kind of pedal? You could've also ended up with a bad laceration from that broken off spindle. Glad you're ok!

That happened to a friend of mine, and the resulting crash really jacked him up, as in unable to ride until months of post op rehab. You're very lucky, in a sense.

Dang your lucky you didn't land on the top bar with your bojangles breaking the fall. I would complain to the manufacturer and see if they would send you a new set. Unless if they have a warning in the manual stating not to use them after a certain amount of time.

I think I still have a couple of pair of the original Look pedals around. They probably won't break for a few thousand more miles. Shall I send them along?
