Old Motobecane Ten Speed. Quick Question.
So I was at my goodwill, just browsing when I came across a Motobecane Ten Speed Tour de France. Everything works, even the derailleurs surprisingly, and I haggled them down to thirty bucks for it. I thought it was a good deal. But I need help finding out what year it is, any advice?

Post in the Classic & Vintage forum (or request this get moved), with closeup pictures of the headtube & BB areas, and search for a serial #.

Does it have a model name on it, like Jubilee or Gran Jubilee or...I forget the others. That may help you nail it down.
If it's pre-about 1990 (?), it will use French parts-- different BB threads, for instance, and the stem diameter will be 22.0mm instead of the Japanese and English standard 22.2. Not interchangeable. |
Ok I'll make a post in vintage, but all it says is Tour de France on the frame. And I'm sure it's pre nineteen nineties. Serial number is M 60 something I think it's only 3 numbers.
