One of the never ending which bike to pick question.

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

One of the never ending which bike to pick question.

So buying an entry level road bike... Goal... 105 group with carbon fork. Full carbon would be nice but with my $1200 price limit a full carbon is only in my dreams. Her inseam is 28inches so would ride I assume a 44cm? Browsing the lbs they had a 2012 Bianchi Via Nirone 7 Dama 105 (https://www.bianchiusa.com/archives/2...one-7-dama-105) they would sell me for 1200. She likes the color and the fit seems about dead on with a 44cm.

The options considered were Diamondback 2013 Women's Airén 3 but the gf says its too ugly for her to be happy with it (imo the colors are kinda bad)

So we looked and found the Diamondback Women 2012 Airén 3 Road Bike in blue which she liked but I couldn't find it locally so would have to order it online..... ie no test ride.

Giant Avail 1 if I can find a discounted model since most I have seen have been around 1400.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
