We've been having a heat wave lately.

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We've been having a heat wave lately.

It's been as hot as 90 F in Seattle. Sometimes I'm forced to ride my bike out to the shore and go for a swim just to cope!

We are having a heat wave on the East Coast too. I was thinking of buying some real estate near Seattle. Guess I will give up on that thought.

It's like 110 F in Phoenix, according to google weather. I just don't know how people deal with that. This weekend I had to escape the heat by playing in the snow.

anything under 110 isn't too bad when you are riding, but repairing a flat tire on the side of the road really sucks.

Gotta love San Diego, <83 degrees for 95% of the year. But I used to live where it was 95+ for the better part of the summer. You get used to it. Like BoSox said, Its fine while riding. Sucks when you catch traffic lights and you start to sweat down the inside of your sunglasses.

It's not the heat, it's the humidity.

I tried to go for a ride at 117.

I got about ten minutes in before I realized it was a really stupid thing to be doing.

Been in 90s here in okc and soon going to be a week at 100 or higher.... Plus everyday has gusts at over 20mph(around the lakes) so give me 120 degrees with no wind and ill be ok! I love the heat! Hate the wind!

Its been fairly mild here in N Texas. I think we've only hit 100 once this year, and I'm not sure that was official. I'm finding that I'm good up until about 94-95. When the highs get over that, I have to alter my activities, bring more water, etc... I need a summer home in CO.

Every day for a month so far! Summer doesn't usually begin until August 10th or so. It's uncanny. We've had to import sunglasses by the truckload.
