Specialized Propero II
My old helmet finally but the dust and I am searching for a new one. Just wondering if anyone is using the Specialized Propero II?

I am using one. I really like it. It is more comfortable than my Giro MTB helmet. I really love the Specialized straps. They are much more comfortable around my ears. I would recommend trying one on and see how it feels. Good luck.

I have one (have the original Propero also), but I really don't care for it. I just couldn't get a good fit with the inner headband.
I picked up an Obrea Thor through an Active.com deal a few months ago and really like that! It does look a bit different than a typical helmet. I occasionally get comments, more asking what kind it is, where I got it, how much I paid, etc (it was about $80 through Active, I'd suggest signing up for their deals, sometimes there's something worthwhile)

I don't like the way the padding contacts my forehead. There is no airflow at the contact between forehead and padding and after a while it gets hot and sweaty.

my coworker has one, overall he liked it, functionally speaking, but for vanity reasons he hated it. its a BIG helmet, made him look like a mushroom/bobble head doll. he just bought a Lazer O2 to replace it and prefers it in every single way, though likely a pricier lid.

I have one, got it last September from my LBS. Fits well and is comfortable, well vented and well made. Its not overly heavy but no lightweight either, no complaints about mine.

I have a Propero and Propero II. I prefer the older version. The II feels narrower. That said, I still wear it almost every ride.
