I need a High Five....

as I know there is a fair representation of Bianchi fans on this great board. Add me to the list. :p
I pulled the trigger on an '04 Veloce I found at a great shop in Ohio and am pretty stoked:

Love the geometry of this bike...the steel ride...monochrome red paint scheme and new 30 speed campy group. An Italian race horse...hehe.
Just wanted to share my pleasure as I know there are many out there either buying or building a bike for the spring.
Cheers,
George

Congrats!!! Nice bike! I can't wait to hear your ride report.

incipit 02-27-05 08:10 AM

Congrats on the purchase!

Thanks guys!...pretty excited. Am weather challenged in Michigan at the moment...snow and cold have been relentless this year. Will give a report when I get it on the road. Never owned a a Bianchi bike before or a bike with Campy group so can't wait for good riding weather.
Appreciate it,
George

I know the feeling. I bought a Bianchi Pista Friday and there has been nothing but rain since I got it home. The same thing happened when I brought my LOOK home a few weeks ago. New bikes bring bad weather :(

Congrats on your purchase.
I was looking at purchasing the same bike, but could find a shop that dealed with Bianchi USA. LBS's in Canada deal directly with Bianchi in Italy.

Up high!. . . On the side!. . . Down low! . . . yer too slow!

Thanks a lot guys..glad to be a member of the family.
I called all over in and out of state and stumbled on this one...had just about given up and bought something else, but this is what I wanted.

You did this wrong, hardly any responses.

You should've put "Bianchi" somewhere in the title of the thread. You would've had hundreds of celestians high-fivin' you.

an Italian steel bike! cool! it should ride like a dream.. I love those Vento wheels, the best wheel for that price...

biker7 02-27-05 06:18 PM

yeah...your're right Ziggurat...will just take a bit longer this way :-)
Thanks sorebutt...really like the whole bike from the geometry to the 30 speed Campy group and the wheels ain't bad either..kind of fit the bike. Racelite's might be a bit better but the Vento's aren't bad..as you say for the price.

Yes yes yes!!! I also have a red Bianchi -campione it is. It's almost finished! Can't wait to ride it.

You will love the Veloce. I got my gurl a bike with the same stuff, only 27 instead of 30.
