mtb pedals/shoes to road pedals/shoes?
I'm on a road bike averaging about 75 miles per week now; planning to increase to 150 miles per week thru summer. My LBS put me on Shimano PD-M520 pedals and Shimano MO-38 mtb shoes to get accustomed to clipless and easier walking in the shoes. I'm ready to move to road pedals and shoes. Looking at Shimano Ultegra PD-R600 SPD-SL pedals and Shimano T-092 touring shoes. Thoughts on the change and the proposed equipment? Will I need to have my bike fit checked after installation?

You might need to raise the seat a hair, as the stack height of the pedal system & sole of the shoe may both be thinner with a road setup. I've been contemplating such a change, but the Frogs I use are pretty decent for road riding...
