Need a good indoor rack

Moved into an apartment and cannot just leave bikes everywhere now. The rack will be set on a nice wooden floor in the living room. No screws allowed, so either it has to freestand. Space is relatively limited and I have 3 bikes.

Can someone suggest a good rack for my situation? went on amazon to look but, as usual, reviews are everywhere. Also more than welcome to show your home bike parking setup.

Rack

I just picked up a Feedback Sports Velo Cache rack it can be made for 2 of 4 bikes and it is very easy to assemble and works well for the bikes i have.

I use this and love it. Has rubber stoppers on the bottom so it wouldn't scratch.

I think PB has a decent one that stacks up to two bikes and can be adjusted. It is a rack style module and can't remember the cost. I had one once but sold it. Now I hang my bikes from padded large J-hooks from the ceiling in my garage.

Best choice. We get ours from Giant and use them to show bikes that we can't or don't want to put up in the racks. I have two for home use.

Minoura bike tower, telescopes to fit different ceiling heights, can fit up to 4 bikes, what I like about it is that it gets the bikes off the floor and up high which creates more room.

I got one of these Racor racks, easy to put together and inexpensive. Comes is 2 or 3 bike versions..

Can you takes a picture of how this works? Looks awesome, scratching my head on how it would holds a bike.

Holds 2 bikes, saving floor space, and lookks relatively nice.

I have a few of these Feedback Sports Rakk I like them have a
XPORT Bikes Aloft 2 Storage Rack if you need to get it off the ground or stack 2 in the same area.

+2. I have a couple of these, and they work well.

I have this rack and love it. Easy to install, can fit up to 4 bikes on it, doesn't take up too much space. It pressure mounts between floor and ceiling. I put extra felt pads on bottom to ensure it didn't scratch floors. I have had it in small apartments in NYC and Seattle and has been pretty much the perfect solution. If space is really an issue, and you could drill in the ceiling (sounds like you can't but IF), you could go for a ceiling mounting solution, which is how my wife and I have our tandem hung.

I have one that is nearly identical and it works very well for me for 2 bikes.

I use this one and it's been pretty good (Racor Pro PLB-2R Two-Bike Gravity Freestanding Bike Stand) -
http://www.amazon.com/Racor-PLB-2R-T...door+bike+rack

Gotta admit the ones that sandwhich themselves between the ceiling and floor look interesting though...mine is pretty stable (it's a lot more stable than the other stands friends have, that's why I bought it), but you could still like push it over if you tried...

Looks like your sneaky troll idea to get boobie pictures is backfiring.

is it pretty sturdy? I need something that my Roomba can bang against the rack, and it won't tip over.

It is quite sturdy this is what it looks like in action, my Tandem stays in place when I put on this rack also.

Thanks for the help everyone. Loved the pro gear stand, looks really cool and simple. But for the price I went with the racor stand.

I posted a Dolly Parton pic...the mods deleted it and gave me an infraction for trolling...go figure...

I'm in a small apt with 3 (and soon, maybe 4) bikes. I use a Delta Botticelli. It's not a high-end precision product, but it does the job and IMO is a good value for the price.
It's free-standing so you can put it anywhere and it stores up to 4 bikes in a space that occupies the footprint of 2. Happily, I haven't had any problems with balancing or
tipping over, but I wouldn't hang an ultra-heavy clyde on the upper level and I do take care to keep it sensibly balanced. It's served me well for years and I recommend it.
