Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Man, that thing might as well be new! It is cherry save for a tiny blemish.

I was having flashbacks looking at it.

Over the top maybe.

In that context, likely just fine.

I ran my Sintesi with yellow Pro Race 3s and I liked it.

I don't hate yellow tires but on this bike it doesn't match.

I had one in a similar "quattro colori" paint scheme. I had big plans in terms of restoring it but alas, other things got in the way.

That bike is beautiful. The mismatched parts is a non-issue for me. You can always replace them all with Campy Athena 11 speed like I did with my Bottecchia. See below (ignore the grimy looking white saddle, I had just come back from a long ride when I took that picture).

Don't sell yourself, or your bike rather, short. That's a beautiful piece of machinery. Interesting how fork have changed over the years.
