To give you an idea of the areas I ride...Please feel free to add your rides and pics

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I took a few pics of my morning ride and thought I'd share with you. These pics are typical of the courses I ride.
Sadly the starva report is in two sections as my phone froze part way through the ride...

I'm jealous. I went to Tokyo a few years ago. Wish I made it to Kyoto while I was there

Nice! Being somewhat an otaku, I always dream of riding in Japan. Also, there is a CAAD cult in Japan.

You are dead on there. I saw an incredible CAAD 9 this morning with DEEEEP Easton Wheels, stem slamed and Ultegra around. I should have taken a pic.
BTW, you do know that Otaku have their own style of road / TT bikes here?

Your pics of your Japan tour were lovely.
Sorry I should have added my pics to the "Where you ride" thread, instead of starting this one.

We want to go back to Japan ... to explore more of Hokkaido, and to venture elsewhere as well.
