Is it necessary to specify that it is for a vegetarian meal? Are there racks that are specific to vegetarians? Perhaps there are special Vegan racks, too. ;)
When I hike, my hiking partner usually carries a big sandwich, chips, trail mix and a piece of fruit. Pretty good size bag... OTOH I carry carrots, a piece of fruit and some nuts. Much smaller bag. In any case, LOL, point taken. And don't make me have to explain the difference between a vegetarian and a vegan to ya.. (jk). |
I can't stand having a rack clamped to my seatpost... my guads keep bumping it and it drives me crazy. Plus the seatpost rack carries the weight high on the bike, which is less stable and makes stuff flop around annoyingly on out-of-the-saddle efforts. I got an Axiom Streamliner road rack for my Cannondale. It's a traditional-style bike rack that is designed to fit on road bikes. Haven't mounted it up yet, though.

I made this, in case I wanted to go on a quick overnight biking/camping trip. I've never used it, however.
