Colnago Master Light. I've wanted one since the 90's

I can think of several CF bikes I'd love to have, but at the end of the day, if I had cash in hand for a bike it'd be between a:
-Cannondale EVO
-Cannondale CAAD10
I know they are vastly different, but I love my CAAD10 so much. I'd just buy a new one for the sake of newer components and wheels. In fact, if I had 5K just for bikes in general, I'd buy myself a set of Lightweight Meilenstein wheels, S-Works Classic handlebars, Ritchey W260 stem, Ritchey Superlogic Seatpost, and a S-Works Romin saddle. That, or Campy Super Record EPS for my CAAD10.
Although I could really use a TT/Tri bike...

If we are strictly talking around the $5k budget then I'd get one of these:

If budget was unlimited (crossing fingers I win the lottery) then I'd go a few steps up to this:

Being eyeballing a TT/Tri as my next bike to compete in some local Time Trials (for training) and to use in Tri's and the occasional Duathlon.
I'd get rid of the stock wheels and get some Tri-Spoke or some nice carbon HED racing wheels.

so many to choose from, but I would look at custom...landshark, crumpton, or parlee to start.

If I had $5k to spend on a new bike, I'd probably get a Lynskey.

The Kona Zone looks pretty good. Room for 32mm tires (or less with fenders), healthy bb drop, tapered steerer, 105 drivetrain for $1500.

Bike today for $5K
I just did,
Volagi Liscio2 (the first carbon road bike with disc brakes) w/ Ultegra Di2
There is not a better value in new technology, endurance-mile comfort and good stiffness/raciness that stops on a dime! I love it!

I'd probably get another Roubaix .... I have a 2012 SL3 and have no reason to upgrade it.
Maybe I should spend the money on some Enve wheels and a Quarq power meter.
That should take care of 5 grand.

Well, I just built up a Van Dessel Rivet with Centaur. I am very happy with it, despite it rolling on old wheels. But WTH, if I'm spending imaginary money, might as well put Record and a set of Boras on that puppy.
