How many of you wear pro team jerseys?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I own about a dozen. About half are from charity rides, and I got them because the wife liked the design. Two are Bear Flag Jerseys (one of the first I got-lost weight and had to get a smaller one.) https://www.kucharikclothing.com/subl...7le2m8b7hban17 . I also have a handful of solid colors including yellow.

I don't wear them. But I sneer at people who do. It's like putting on pads and a helmet to play football in the park.

I did an organized century yesterday. Lots of pro kits, but the kicker was the guy wearing a replica of THE Maillot Jaune, complete with the Credit Lyonaise logo.

No team logo on the front though, so there's that.

The only pro jersey acceptable to wear is the AG2R because you have to really like that team in order to wear that flimflammery.

Just enjoy the ride and don't worry too much about what other people think of your jerseys. Buy what you can afford.

Not here. I'm middle aged and I prefer solids or low key retro designs. Usually whatever I can find good deals on, preferably from respected cycling kit manufacturers just as long as they fit me well, don't and are well made and designed (ie don't flop around when I ride or load up the pockets on a long ride). Even have a couple of wool Jerseys I like for the fall/winter.

Yesterday's century there were a group of about 8 guys riding together all wearing Saxo Tinkoff jerseys. I'm pretty sure none of them were Contador or Kreuziger.

Not really sure what was up with that. Perhaps they wanted jerseys that ID'd them as a team, and were too cheap to pay for custom work.

Sometimes I wear kits of teams I don't like and then ride really slow, so everyone thinks that team is slow and sucky. Haha, revenge!!!

I wear some jerseys of old teams that I remember from when I was a kid. I ride old bikes. Sometimes I mix shorts and jerseys. I don't shave my skinny legs. I suck at climbing and descending. One of the jerseys I have chafes my nipples a bit so I don't wear it much, but it looks super cool. I have never weighed in on one of these "team jersey: to wear or not to wear" threads, but I understand both sides.

I do not. But then again, I never understood the people who dress up in an official team jersey to go watch a football or baseball game. Do they think there will be 1 too many injuries and the coach will be forced to pick someone from the crowd to jump in at 2nd base?

I wear jerseys from my own team. But I do have some team jerseys from extinct teams. 7/11 for example.

I wear jerseys that are either a solid color or two tone. They are good quality and cheap. I have probably a dozen or more jerseys and not one of them has anything printed on the jersey. I would rather spend my money on wheels, pedals, shoes, etc.

Its to support there team and adds fun to the game! The Broncos were not doing too well before, but people still wore there jerseys to games for support and taking pride in there own state team. What fun would it be if everyone in the stadium paid $500 and up for a ticket and just wore plain t shirts and no ones being crazy and loud? That would just be deppressing.

I have two. One is Roslotto (short sleeve from the mid 1990s), another is Farnese Vini (long sleeve and
short sleeve from last year). Also have 3 Rainbow Jerseys (2 LS, 1 SS). Love to wear all of them! I don't give a damn about opinions of others.
I have to have logos of some sort on 90% of my bibs and jerseys, whether it's brand logos or pro team. Solid jerseys (except for one high viz summer jersey and two LS heavy winter jerseys that I love to wear) I just cannot do solid jerseys or solid black bibs. Not my style now. i like the pro racer look. Used to be (conservative style) many years ago.
EVERYBODY'S DIFFERENT! Why are some people so astonished at how others differ in their personal preferences!? They don't make a zillion flavors of ice cream for nothing! More importantly, why do so many people even care what others do, as long as it's legal, clean fun.
Please, if you really want to wear a "full pro kit," by all means do so. You "set the pace for yourself!"
