Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Helmet.

Hi.
I'm looking in to new helment to upgrade from my Wal-Mart helment.
I have a choice between: Tirreno Firenza Helmet and Bell® Alchera Helmet .
Any recomendations? Right now I'm leaning towards Tirreno, mainly because it looks less bulky.
Thx.

Since all helmets have to be certified, what looks good to you and fits correctly is what matters. Sort of like saddles...

I have an alchera (the red model) and bought a Catlike online yesterday. For the protection on the rear, which the alchera lacks. I do like the fit and finish of the alchera.

Hard to tell if a helmet (or saddle) will fit correctly if you're buying mail order.
