Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

thanks for the link. I'm still trying to understand your POV after your Troll message @triple gears. (I'm a convert, it keeps me going up verticals or Muur) There are some interesting ones that have come for sale on ebay

my pov? mostly i just ride bikes. i like to mix things up one in a while on-line. nothing meant by it, except that it's fun. i'm really not a bad sort, and certainly not as dogmatic as i sometimes pretend to be...

I guess the block-pattern Bianchi is an all-time classic...from Coppi to Ullrich

The Peugeot with the checkerboard chest band lasted a long time, too.

Of the newer ones, you have to love the Mondrian-esque La Vie Claire jersey, as worn by Hinault, Lemond and Hampsten.

I had one of those Atala jerseys. I put the bloodstained shreds in the trash, after one training ride, and vowed never to sprint for another road sign with juniors;-)

I actually have one of those La Vie Clair jerseys. I was lucky enough to meet LeMond and Hampsten, and they both autographed it for me.

If you've got a tax refund coming, you could blow some (or all) of it here. Classic retro jerseys and trainers.
