Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cannondale vs. Fuji

I have a 2005 Trek 2300, and have finally saved up enough money to get a new bike. Would like the great people on here to give me there opinions. Two that I am looking hard at are: 2014 Cannondale SuperSix Evo Ultegra Di2 and Fuji SST 1.3 w/ Ultegra Di2. Let me know what you think about these bikes, or if you have a suggestion on a different bike at that price range, get it a try. Thank you all for taking time to reply.

My boss has the SST with 6700 and upgraded wheels, and Special Ed has the the Evo. Both love them their bikes, but I don't think either have much experience with a lot of other bikes.

This!

I have a Fuji Altamira (which I believe is more geared towards climbing and the SST is more geared towards sprinting...totally making that up) and the 2013 EVO Ultegra Di2. The last time I rode a road style bike, I was 13 and it was a Performance cross/road bike something or other with bar end shifters. Both bikes are far better than that one. I also had a huffy bmx bike in college.

So yeah, not much experience. I enjoy the Di2, but since both bikes will have it, thats pretty much a non issue. I have the same cockpit and was using the same saddle on both bikes. I've tried to set them up identical and to tell you the truth, they ride very similar in my experience. However, I've been riding the cannondale more often recently but thats just because I was waiting for a second saddle for the fuji to arrive.

I'd say both bikes are nice. Cannondale gets more love on this site, but both are fine bikes. Fuji likes to write their name all over the bike, but so does cannondale, so thats a bit of a toss up. I don't really have anything bad to say about either bike.

What's the different in price...Where will you get the better support, what about warranty, exchange policy...dealer quality for repairs after the sale....
If the components are the same then it's a toss up right...Maybe not 100% toss up but close.
