Some nice rigs in here thus far!
Although this is my second-string bike, which I ride when I am away at work, my 2009 Defy 1 Aluxx with DA7800 is a smooth ride and is fairly quick - dependent upon how my legs feel on the day!
Here it is stopped on The Esplanade, outside Luna Park in St.Kilda, which is a bit of an iconic Melbourne fixture.

cheers

Mine basically the same setup, full 7800 too.
I like the touch of green it livens it up a bit.

Here's my TCR Advanced Rabobank - it's currently sporting a DA 7800 crank and drive train. This pic is a couple of years old.

What chainrings are those?
I would've thought that was a 105 group if you didn't mention it.
I love the Rabobank colors.

The bike accelerates fast and once you get going it begs to be ridden harder

When I was pulling I noticed that I could keep up at 25mphr with head wind same road I usually struggle to keep up at 23mphr with other bikes. Lots of compliments and curious eyes from other riders..probably din't have guts to ask me about the bike. Overall i'm very excited and this one is a keeper.

T-Mobile (well known for there doping) was a german pro team that Giant sponsored for along time, they produced consumer versions of the Team bike, that's what mine is.
You, don't want to know the price for wheels, lets say they are an extravagance, google Reynolds RZR and you'll see the price range.

No sarcasm, just an honest question/observation.
Where did you find a black 7800 crank set/drive train?

The picture is two years old and was taken at a time when it did have a black 105 group. When I purchased the bike it came with 105. Shortly after the photo was taken, I replaced the 105 group so it now (as in October 2013) has DA 7800, but I do not have a recent picture. I don't have a lot of photos of my bikes, maybe I'll work on that.

Heres a pic of my 13' Giant TCR Composite 1 w/ Ultegra group the first night I had her, I took the pic when i was swapping my pedals over. since then ive only done a few things to her;
Thomson 90mm stem
Added a quadlock iphone mount
and looking into a powertap based wheelset soon, most likely getting it over the winter.

One thing about a white bike - they stay clean because the dirt is very visible and you feel compelled to clean it frequently.
Nice looking ride!

Here is my 2014 Giant Defy 1. In the process of swapping some of the white for more of a black and red theme. Will post pictures when done.
