I donated a couple weeks ago. I go for the cookies.

Since 2007, I've been going fairly regularly (every two weeks) to donate platelets. I have 178 donations. Oh and I once donated white blood cells. I go for the heated pads in addition to the cookies. Stanford Blood Center gives out a lot of schwag. I have a nice collection of tie dye t-shirts which they give out once a year around Memorial Day.

I had only one issues last summer where my blood pressure was too low to donate blood due to riding all summer. I try to donate when I can.

I take blood thinners so I cannot afford to spare any blood.

I would, but since my partner and I actually have a monogamous sex life I'm too risky to donate. That frat bro, who hooked up with 3 chicks last weekend - he's good to go....

I donate blood to the Jehovah's Witnesses every Christmas.......
