Any quick-links for Shimano 11 speed chains yet?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So I carry the KMC missing link 11 in my bag. I've never had a chain break, but a guy with a ten speed broke his chain in the midst of a metric century and he used one of mine allowing him to finish the race.

My question, without the pliers, how do you set the link? I'm thinking something similar to what papado didn't "officially" recommend for disengaging the pin in post 38.

Put the link together and hold the rear break and step on the crank, and it's set. Easy.
