Tool bottle suggestions?

Hi guys. Got a new bike, and was thinking of dumping the saddle bag, at least for shorter rides. Any suggestions of a tool holder which fits the bottle cage?

All my tools will fit in one quarter of the height of a bottle. It would be great to get something which can have tools below and water above. Dunno if anything like that exists.

Bob Dopolina has something like what I want.

Great idea!
Maybe try to put your tools in a zip lock bag, & then fit the bottle up?

I carry all my tools etc. in a water bottle, the bottle I got free when I purchased the bike. Its easily transferable from one bike to another, same as the one shown but less expensive.I also carry a pair of latex gloves which have proven to be one of my most essential tools,,saves grease on both gloves and hands in a field repair.

I always have a pair nitrile gloves in my bag too!
Total life saver.

I picked up some old diabetic test kits/wallet/holder.... thingys at a yard sale.

If you keep your essential gear together in a kit like that... along with a photocopy ID and a few bucks you can carry it in a jersey pocket. Any little nylon zippered bag would do fine. Any it will always be ready and with you... if you don't forget it. But I think if you strapped it to your seat... you wouldn't need to remember it... or even think about it. However... I think that would be a lot like a saddle bag.

Things like... bicycle pumps, saddle bags, bicycle computers,... even water bottles... spoil the lines and clean look of a bicycle IMHO. But the extra crap makes the bicycle useful.

instead of gloves I carry a wet-wipe packet or two (from the Chinese food place) . Not only will they clean hands but also can wipe off other grime from places other than hands.
