Crankset compatibility?

I am considering replacing my FSA mega EXO compact crankset with an Ultegra SL 6650 with the same 50/34 configuration. How can I determine if the Ultegra crankset will work with my existing 2011 Felt Z6 oem bottom bracket? (Felt caals it an "external" BB.)

That Ultegra crank is compatible with your frame (which is just a standard English threaded frame), but you need to purchase a matching bottom bracket ($15-30).

Be careful. A 6500 bottom bracket is octalink, and a 6650 crank is hollowtech II. Very different BB's.

yup, an English 6600 BB is what you want. 5600, 5700, and 6700 are okay too. No 6500.
