Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

S-Works Tarmac & crank fit?

I ordered a 2014 SW Tarmac frame with what I understand is a pre installed ceramic BB bearing. Which Sram Red crank fits it ???
I bid on a GXP Red 22 crank & realized it may not fit, will it without adapter??

Yeah, you'll need an adapter for that crank to fit that frame. Really, you want a BB30 crank if you don't want an adapter.

why did you go with a GXP crank? 2014 SL4 Sworks bikes are Spesh's version of narrow PF30.
Translation is, any BB30 crank is plug and play.
So you will need Wheel mfg adapters which are a popular adaption, but if starting fresh and buying a frame and a crank, most would choose a compatible, non adapted combination.
Cheers. A fantastic bike and groupset btw...you will love it.
