Trek, yes a nice bike but I have no desire to own one. Just me?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, they've been collector items for over a year since Rabo dropped their sponsorship. And that's not even their pro frame anymore.

No I don't you'd be hard pressed to find a clean cyclist no matter how far you go back. This religious need to take out Armstrong left me with an incredible dislike and distrust of USADA/WADA.

I am surprised no one has yet mentioned the fact that Speach is owned by one of the if not the biggest ****** bags in cycling.

the bikes look pretty good, but putting the word GIANT sideways book spine style on the head/steer tube instead of their logo is like shooting yourself in the foot. it looks HORRID

I didn't really care what it looks like. I am old. I rode 2014 Felt Z's, Roubaix's, Synapse hi mod and bought the Domane with DA 9000. I am back to 3 hour hilly rides without major back an neck pain after the ride.

Gee, I feel the same way about Specialized, but I'd compare them more to being a Chrysler. I'd take a Chevy over a Chrysler any day

Who is "they"?

When Rabo pulled it's sponsorship of the men's team they went hunting for a new one. Belkin took Rabo's place. Belkin is in the electronics business.

BTW....Merida was mentioned...

Lampre that used to be on Wilier, is now sponsored by Merida.

What I find ironic is that they are a sponsor of a team competing with all the Specialized teams, for whom Merida makes their frames.
