Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Apparently Dan Snyder didn't tell the other candidates he'd hired Jay Gruden and they kept preparing for their interviews. Classy. And competent.

Well, I'm living in her place now, so I think the "capturing" went the other way. I can hear you laughing already.

Yes, I have a Fire Snyder bumper sticker, but it's not on the car because the righteous indignation is lost upon the locals here in tucktucky.

I miss summer cycling to the Simpsonville Dairy Queen.

I just don't understand how I can spend so much time on the bike and never lose weight.

Hey Mr. @rjones28, have you gotten any bike and trike miles in with our heatwave? I got out yesterday for 26 miles, and after work tonight for 20 (lit up like @LAJ's front yard). Tonight was gorgeous!

Figured I would also express my interest in a repeat Point-2-Pint, if you are again so inclined. Others are of course welcome (start practicing now, Mr. @BillyD).

Oh, and Mrs. CNY remains unpredictably nice, so the fembot **** continues. I have looked for brain sucking leeches, and there is no evidence in the customary spots.

Sometimes spouses just need to get away from each other for awhile and experience that pre-marriage zen. It's a really good thing.

Does that mean you had to give up your racing car bed with Spider-Man sheets?

The one great consolation in the Redskins sucking is that it hurts Dan Snyder more.

Dan Snyder has already demonstrated to the world his total lack of class by his position on the team's name. I mean, this is 2014 for cryingoutloud, and to defend an insult like that!? He's a pig!

I'm a cowboy, and I resent having a team named after me.
