Why does CAAD10 have 45mm and 50mm fork rake

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Have you notice that the smaller CAAD10 uses a 50mm rake fork and the sizes from 56cm up use a 45mm rake fork.
Yet the 52,54 and 56cm share the same frame angles.
Wonder why this us so? Any thoughts?

To eliminate front wheel - pedal overlap on the smaller top tube sizes? Usually that only is a correction taken with extremely small sizes like 44, 47 mm. I'd be surprised they would have that kind of difference in trail between common sizes (same heat tube angle, 5 mm different rake).

Looking at the geometry charts, the trail on the 54,56, and 60 is the same (with it being 3mm shorter on the 58). If they used a 50mm rake fork on the larger bikes it would decrease the trail more than the designer wants.
