Gone but not forgotten

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Gone but not forgotten

seeing old forumites in a zombie thread got me thinking, who are the most famous, or infamous, former posters?

Nominees:

R600Durace

Brandi

Velogater

Ryanf

Velogator

He who shall not be mentioned.

R600Durace got the most reaction and laughs. Ryanf was on the pathetic side at times with things like his guads. They both added a lot. Brandi did too in a much different way.

ijen joined BF and wandered into Addiction showing off her stuff. Someone stalked her and she became velogator. Then she cheated and poof, she was gone.

I wasn't here for many of the above mentioned names, but I really think Vicelord deserves at least a mention. The fierce brief flame, battered down by handcuffs at the 7-11. You honestly can't make this **** up.

BDG was nice. I think she was a bit put off by the juvenile male behavior that can be common around here.

2ndGen was a good one. He had a bunch of people listening to him. Then he disclosed in a thread he was short and fat. Then the massive shaming with his CAAD. WhyFi.

Poof, he was gone.

One of my favorite Botto exchanges with a newbie:

ricadoo: I'm just wondering whether or not it would be ok to cycle in the rain with a road bike ( or any bike for that matter) or will it get rusty?

botto: yes.

ricadoo: Yes it's ok to ride in the rain or yes it'll get rusty?

botto: you've got it.

ricadoo: what!!??

I haven't been around long enough to have enjoyed some of the legends, but recently I found Gerry Hull oddly mezmerizing. Dude had that creepy camera angle working!
