New Bike!
1 Attachment(s)
I picked up a new toy for this riding season. Im not a racer by any means but ride 25-40 miles per ride. Since I feel like a fat cow due to weather here in NC, I got this bike for some motivation for the upcoming season. I suppose I have to change my username now. It's a Ridley Noah/ Ultegra.

Looks like a TT/Aero bike to me with road handlebars. Looks hard to steer. Why did you get that instead of a Helium or an Enduro?
But sweet looking bike. You'll look fast on it regardless how fast you are moving :D The split fork and the paint job supposedly to improve air flow is interesting! The F-Surface paint job is the most interesting aspect of your Noah to me. Concept makes sense to me, and was proven such texturization works in wind tunnels. Let us know if you think it makes a difference to you! |
Noah is Ridley's aero road bike. It has road bike geometry. Dean is the TT model.
Enjoy OP, it looks like a fun ride. May it give you the motivation you seek. |
I'm sure many of us in the same boat. I signed up to ride for a Diabetes, my goal is to shed 15 lbs by that time. I bought a TRX suspension to work on my core, shoulders and back. It's AWESOME. On Ebay there is a company WOSS selling them for $25. So far WOSS's product is strong, and does what I bought it for, best $25. Just throwing it out there if you are looking for some weight training to help you get fitter without spending a lot of time in the gym. 20 reps on 15 different exercises that work your core, back, lats, shoulders? And in just 20 minutes? Yeah, that's freaking awesome. So AWESOME!
- Currently bidding on my first Carbon on Ebay (not chinese, one of the big brand names), maybe my motivation to keep shedding weight. |

The Mrs. got some new hoops for her bike as well. These wheels were on the Noah when I got it. I used my Planet X's since they were a Christmas present.

That's a good way to justify a new bike to your wife. "Hey, honey, look at the new wheels I got for your bike. You'll be faster and get a better ride feel out of them! That? Oh, that's just some bike frame they threw in for free with the wheels."
Enjoy your rides. I bought her a Gore 3 horse gooseneck trailer for an early Valentine's Day and a Ford F-350 Power Stroke Crew cab dually two months ago. My toys pale in comparison to hers. :( |
