Gotta be carefull out there

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Gotta be carefull out there

Mountain biker suffers 7-week erection after straddling bike's crossbar
The unidentified, Irish 22-year-old apparently straddled his bike's crossbar — the section between the seat and the handlebars — and, as a result, suffered the seemingly endless erection, as doctors were able to treat the problem, which could have resulted in a dangerous blood clot.

He had to see his doctor because his erection lasted longer than 4 hours.
He became an intensive object of study by a team of doctors trying to figure out how to recreate his condition in aging men.

Let me tell you this... I had something similar happen but the results were not the same. On a 18% climb at about 5mph one of my cleats gave up... Probably the most painful thing I've ever experienced. It took a week to heal up. The saddle literally stabbed me down there.

Well, at least CNBC will get some new commercials. I'm sick of seeing that same guy throwing the football through a tire every time I watch the morning market report. Bob Dole on bike. Why not.

You have to laugh about all the disclaimers on the drugs that the FDA are trying to shill on the American public. Gotta love the disclaimers. Something like...if you develop leprosy and your arm falls off and your brains start spilling out of your ears and you have a sudden urge to stab your best friend and jump out the window, abstain from taking subject product. Reality is the side effects to all the drugs that are being marketed are real. In fact they don't even tell you all the side effects. Money and greed.
