Tour of California commercial with Peter Sagan

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I hope he tries to learn English more. It would open more doors for him market-wise. I like this kid a lot, both his personality and racing.

..and screw all the haters. Alongside with Vos and Stybar, I think he's one of those rare talents that you have to watch. He competes and actually wins from February to September. I see this guy doing a Zabel-esque domination with the Green jersey.

yes, English can always be improved upon.

BTW, i saw a TV interview (British Eurosport?) that featured him recently, i think it was at the Tour of Oman, he's improving.

Maybe he played grab-ass with the granny. Like a Harold & Maude thing. Hey! Different strokes...

It probably would, but the ad didn't need a lot of words. I might need a low-rider bike though.

Yeah, I'd say he fits right in. I dig Peter, he seems like he enjoys life.

Is that the podium girl, for real?
That would just add to how cool that commercial spot is.
Very fast pro, just chillin' and poppin' wheelies with the
neighborhood bike crew.
I like it.

Brace yourself, the tourminator is coming. Last year, one of the stages ended less than 2 miles from my place in Santa Clarita where Sagan sprinted for the win. Can't wait for it to return. I agree about his english, its atrocious. His interview at the end of the TDF was awkward and painful to watch.

He is insanely talented and truly enjoys just riding. It is a relief to see an athlete of any sport just enjoying it like a kid would

Interesting lack of helmets in that video... except for Sagan and the kid.

In terms of speaking second (third etc) languages, I daresay learning French and Italian would do him more good than English.

Disagree. More pros speak English as a first or second language, and there are more English speaking pro teams. Ten or 20 years ago, perhaps, but no longer.
