f4rrest 03-10-14 01:37 PM

Obscure reference is even more obscure now. That's good, right?

For the cool kids, yes.

At least some people were observant enough to figure it out before posting the umpteenth "what does 'the 41' mean?" thread. No such luck anymore.

I guess those guys with the custom jerseys can toss them now.

telebianchi 03-10-14 01:47 PM

Who bought the jersey? Those things are going to be worth big bucks now.

RPK79 03-10-14 01:49 PM

RIP 41. You will be missed.

velisoped 03-10-14 01:58 PM

I'll sell you my jersey and shorts for $300. Both size L. Used about three times. Washed each time. :)

gc3 03-10-14 02:21 PM

You mean there's other fora/forums here at this web-site? I never looked....

Just try explaining it in 6 months :)

This reminds me of when Riverside CA switched area codes from 909 to 951. The major said it was the change was necessary because of the 'stigma' attached to '909' (LA and OC deejays made fun of the 909) area code. Of course all the other towns in the area are scratching their heads because Riverside is the cause for the negative stigma.
